Propolis Skin Care is created by Stephen's Orchard & Apiary. Propolis Skin Care was first introduced to the public in October of 2017 and since then has sold out several times. The Stephen family holds a huge family value of working as a team to produce top tier honeybee products. They currently have over 300 honeybee hives that produce all of the Propolis which is used in their skincare line. Karlon Stephen (retired nurse of 43 years) & Daughter Michelle Duprey (Master's of Science & Business) started researching their own skincare line when they became unhappy with today's store bought products. The mother/daughter duo knew they could do better and created a skincare line that is safe, effective & affordable!
It's All About Our Bees!
The Stephen family currently has 300 hives spread all over the Kansas City & Lawrence area. They take pride in caring for their honeybees by using techniques passed down from one generation to the next. If you are looking for true RAW honey, you have to try Stephen's Orchard & Apiary!

What is Raw Propolis?
- We hand scrape all our raw propolis from our honey bee boxes.
- Propolis or bee glue is a resinous mixture that honey bees produce by mixing beeswax with tree buds, sap, and other botanical sources.
- Propolis is used to reinforce the structural stability of the hive and seals alternative entrances.
- Prevents diseases and parasites from entering the hive, and to inhibit fungal and bacterial growth.

Where do we get our propolis?
If bees were to become extinct, our planet would end. It is thanks to their pollination that we still have flowers and other beautiful plants in the world. This means that bees need protection from harm wherever possible. However, it isn't just about creating beautiful flowers. In doing so, bees also produce beeswax, honey & propolis and all of these products have amazing health benefits for us. We strongly believe that honey bees should be respected and that they have an important role to play on our planet, so we make sure that our products only contain honey, propolis & beeswax from our own bees! We believe that the bees shouldn't thank us for the flowers, we should thank them for their byproducts. This is why our bees are hand-reared on our farm, which allows us to give you the highest level ingredients in the products we create.

All products are handmade in small batches by the mother/daughter duo in order to reduce product costs. The family really strives to provide affordable skin care that all customer levels can afford. They cut out the middle man by doing all their own marketing and PR themselves. This allows the end user to receive a top tier products without paying top of the line prices.
